My friend Tomi sent me a report about last Sundays 4.7kg sea trout. The fish took a VK-baitholder using the top hole rigging and adjusted to have a very slow rotation. The trolling speed was about 2,7kn. On their first trip about a week ago they lost a big +5kg trout just before netting and got some undersize trout and one brutal strike. All with VK-baitholders at hi-speed.When the fish are near the surface try "Fastfood" that is sometimes the most powerful way to catch fish. Remember, adjust to have a slow rotation on the bait. A simple way to get a slow rotation is to change the placing of the hook so it is further down on the bait.
