Today we had the Yövesi meeting in Lake Saimaa in Finland. The fishing was difficult and of the nineteen boats that participated only four of them caught salmon. We had a minimum size for salmon of 60cm and trout 55cm in this competition/meeting. Normally the minimum size in Yövesi is 50cm and the size under Finnish law is only 40cm for those fish!
